On our previous ultra sound, two months ago, Dumplin looked like a blinking gummy bear so we were not expecting much this visit. Little did we know how much had changed since then.

This time we could see so much detail (spine, skull, organs, teeth) and action (mouth moving, swallowing, whole-body jerks). Dumplin even turned to look at us at one point which was sweet. The tech said that (s)he measured 15oz and appears to be growing slightly ahead of schedule, but not enough to change the due date.
Since the doctor visit, rumbles have turned into random pops and occasional kicks. It's been a fun, sometimes ticklish, week! Paul cannot feel anything on the outside yet, but it won't be long.
